Financial Operations – Intermediate
Job Opportunity:
Financial Operations – Intermediate. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical professional to join our Financial Operations team at the intermediate level. In this role, you will be responsible for executing day‑to‑day financial processes that ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial ecosystem. You will serve as a bridge between operational execution and strategic financial health, working to mitigate risk while providing exceptional support to our stakeholders.
Salary: $22 - $23.89 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
Education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities- Process Management: Oversee and execute routine financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger reconciliations, and complex billing inquiries.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify, monitor, and control risks associated with financial activities. Ensure all processes adhere to established regulatory requirements and internal control policies.
- Data Analysis: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare detailed reports for management to support informed decision-making.
- Member Advocacy: Deliver high‑quality service by resolving complex financial issues and providing guidance on financial products and procedures.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement new financial systems, automate workflows, and support audit activities.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field within the financial services industry.

Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with financial ERP systems or banking software. - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Experience in the military community or a deep understanding of military‑specific financial needs.
- Prior experience in a "Sensitive Position" involving the movement of corporate or member funds.
