** Capital Markets Financial Analyst

* you* are our finance guru, always searching for new data to analyze. In this role, you will prepare reports and reconcile general ledger accounts. You will use your effective communication skills and analytical mindset to present your findings and make recommendations in collaboration of other lines of business. ** What you’ll do****:
*** Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, both internal and external, for the bank's portfolio of securities to include reporting for ALCO, Cash Flows, and Call Reports
* Reconcile general ledger accounts
* Manage deposit and securities accounts at FHLB, including monitoring activity for CRA group
* Process margin calls for mortgage-backed securities trades
* Review and ensure accuracy in the booking of transactions and in investment portfolio reports, resolving discrepancies as needed
* Provide research and documentation for external Auditing and Regulatory agencies
* Validate the content and accuracy of critical management reports generated by Bond Accounting system for the investment portfolio and provide to auditors on an annual basis
* Review Bond Accounting system periodic updates for impact on portfolio accounting or reporting and continually assess processes for more efficient methods of portfolio monitoring
* Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

* What you’ll need:

*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 2+ years financial reporting experience
* Experience with fixed income securities
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Reconciliation and research skills
* Proficient in Microsoft computer applications, specifically Excel
