Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $125,000 + 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance

The Accounting Manager oversees complex accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. They develop and implement financial policies, analyze financial data for forecasting and variance analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role leads daily cash management, auditing, reconciliations, and serves as the ERP administrator maintaining financial processes and controls. The manager provides leadership to direct reports and works to enhance accounting systems and procedures in support of business objectives.
Responsibilities- Perform highly complex accounting tasks with specialized analysis across multiple functions.
- Develop and modify major policies and procedures for financial reporting and cost analysis.
- Conduct advanced problem‑solving analysis.
- Manage daily cash management, auditing, reconciliations, forecasting, and related financial functions.
- Review complex financial data and maintain documented records supporting data used for actual and variance analysis.
- Lead and manage direct reports.
- Design and recommend complex accounting systems, methods, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure tax compliance and timely completion of corporate tax returns, taking advantage of favorable tax codes.
- Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting business activity and financial position for income, expenses, and earnings.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Act as ERP administrator, establishing and maintaining processes, controls, and data.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field;
Master's preferred. - At least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience with knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, and banking working knowledge.
- Manufacturing industry experience with cost accounting preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the company.
- Process improvement experience supporting rapid growth.
- Team-focused approach, ability to build rapport and proactively identify and implement improvements.
- Hands-on curiosity about day-to-day operations and improvement opportunities.
- Motivation to lead by building rapport and trust with the team.
- Net Suite ERP experience preferred; strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, problem solver, and analytical.
