- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 12+ years of Experience in Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, or Finance Operations.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, coding, and ledger management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned ledgers with minimal supervision.
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb training and apply process documentation effectively.
- Time Management – able to work at pace and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask on role requirements and conflicting deadlines.
- Experience and ability to determine coding through previous roles and able to demonstrate that they know how to determine coding independently.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders – Be able to ask correct questions to correct person to get information required.
- Ability to enter invoices in correct currency, on correct company. Know what is and isn’t an invoice.
- Able to identify AP, Expense and Non-AP queries and deal with accordingly in timely manner.
- Good Knowledge of excel.
- Ability to manage ledger independently.
- Quick learner – able to take on board training and documents available and use in maximising success in role.
- Understand business organisation both in terms of their role and the wider business.
