Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial and operational functions of a hospital facility. This executive leadership role partners closely with the Hospital CEO and senior leadership team to oversee financial operations, revenue integrity, accounting, purchasing, patient access, and health information systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader with strong hospital finance experience, operational oversight expertise, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead hospital financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue integrity initiatives
  • Oversee accounting, reimbursement, patient accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, and materials management functions
  • Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership and Board members
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, SOX requirements, and GAAP standards
  • Develop and implement financial policies, reporting systems, and operational process improvements
  • Lead and develop operational teams while driving efficiency, accountability, and performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians, leadership teams, and department managers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of progressive hospital finance leadership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, revenue cycle, budgeting, SOX compliance, and GAAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills required
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and strategic planning initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
  • CPA, CMA, or healthcare finance certifications preferred
