Full‑time position in Financial Administration.
LocationsShowing 1 location.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records for the department.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation.
- Manage the fixed asset register, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and transfers, and calculate monthly depreciation expense.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and supporting schedules, and monitor and reconcile prepaid expenses and record amortization.
- Assist in processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring timely payment; support accounts receivable activities including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies, implementing effective internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
- Balance, post, and review pharmacy cash payments and accounts receivable, and engage with payors on discrepancies.
- Support other ad‑hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be detail oriented and PC proficient.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in accounting, cash handling or related position, preferably in a health care environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Must be able to type 40 wpm and 10‑key by touch.
- Scheduled hours and/or work locations are subject to change.
- Finger dexterity needed for typing or picking up small objects.
- Frequent talking to convey detailed instructions or ideas clearly.
- Hearing:
Able to hear average or normal conversations. - Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Visual:
Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents. - Physical:
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time; may lift items up to approximately 25 lbs.
