Credit Risk Analyst – Process Documentation
Location: San Antonio (onsite preferred)
Seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to document and enhance credit card account management processes across key programs.
Responsibilities- Document end-to-end workflows for:
- Credit line increase programs (CLIP/MCLI)
- Balance transfer strategies
- Secured card graduation programs
- Create detailed process documentation covering:
- SAS/SQL data extraction and processing
- Data outputs and Excel-based modeling workflows
- Define and document:
- Key metrics (incremental balances, unit/dollar loss rates)
- Financial valuation methods (multi-year return projections)
- Data sources, tools, and storage locations
- Review and approval processes
- Partner with SMEs to translate processes into standardized documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Credit risk experience within credit cards or consumer lending
- Hands‑on SAS and/or SQL skills
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)
- Experience with financial modeling tied to credit strategies
- Background in process documentation or SOP creation
- Strong analytical mindset; detail‑oriented and inquisitive
