Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics professional with strong expertise in credit risk analytics, regulatory compliance, and advanced data analysis within a banking or financial services environment. The role involves analyzing complex credit risk datasets, supporting consumer credit risk strategy, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Analyze and interpret complex credit risk and financial datasets
- Support development and execution of consumer credit risk strategies
- Perform advanced analytics, risk assessments, and reporting
- Develop analytical queries, procedures, and models using data analysis tools
- Identify trends, anomalies, and insights from large banking datasets
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and business teams to support decision-making
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and governance standards in analytics outputs
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
- Conduct research, investigation, and problem-solving for risk-related issues
- Strong experience in an analytical field (Credit Risk / Banking / Financial Analytics preferred)
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAS
- SQL
- Python
- R or Visual Basic
- Experience working on advanced analytics and risk assessment projects
- Strong understanding of banking data and credit risk concepts
- Experience in data analysis, querying, and reporting
Understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks including:
- FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act)
- Reg B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act)
- UDAAP / UDAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices)
- OCC Heightened Standards
- OCC Credit Risk Guidance
