Fraud Specialist I Schedule
Candidates must be available for both the training and post-training schedules.
- Training Schedule (First 4 Weeks): Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Post-Training
Schedule:- Tuesday-Friday: 10:00am-7:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Respond to all inbound phone calls, upholding service level agreements, member experience, and company policies.
- Process actionable alerts and fraud notifications, conducting research as needed.
- Analyze and validate Identity Theft claims and other fraud claims as they arise.
- Review accounts and transactions for fraudulent activity and take appropriate action to prevent losses.
- Assist members with fraud alerts and work with them to resolve issues.
- Collect and report suspicious activity information using established processes.
- Review membership information and identification documents to determine the validity of information.
- Resolve fraud claims in accordance with government regulations.
- Accurately record data and remarks using spreadsheets and system notes.
- Maintain knowledge of current fraud trends and schemes in the financial services industry.
- Monitor and make decisions on alerts in various fraud tools, including Actimize, Fraud Net, and Salesforce.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Education: A High School Degree is required.
Experience: Basic knowledge of banking or credit union operations is preferred. Prior fraud experience is required.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Basic knowledge of fraud types and schemes is also required. The role requires excellent oral and writing skills.
The pay rate for this position is up to $19.00 per hour.
