Senior Financial Analyst

SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner

to the Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams by providing

financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and business insights that drive

profitable growth and operational excellence. This role is responsible for

analyzing financial and operational performance, identifying opportunities for cost

savings and process improvements, supporting capital investment decisions, and

delivering actionable business intelligence to leadership. The Senior Financial

Analyst plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional

initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives.

• Support development and consolidation of the annual operating budget and
• Analyze budget-to-actual performance and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, management presentations, and executive-level analyses.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance
• Perform financial analysis of manufacturing operations, including labor, material, overhead, and inventory performance.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, plant efficiencies, yields, and operational metrics.
• Partner with leadership to identify cost-reduction opportunities and operational improvements.
• Support standard cost development, maintenance, and costing analyses.
• Evaluate logistics, warehousing, and supply chain initiatives to improve profitability and service levels.
• Develop and enhance business intelligence tools, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.
• Utilize SAP and other reporting systems to provide actionable insights and
• Support reporting standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and system utilization.
• Perform financial evaluations of capital investment opportunities, including ROI, NPV, IRR, payback, and post-implementation reviews.
• Support capital appropriation and strategic planning processes.
• Conduct pricing, customer profitability, product profitability, and market analyses.
• Perform external benchmarking and competitive financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Assist with implementation, upgrades, and optimization of financial and operational systems.
• Participate in other projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, or operational finance.
• Manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, or supply chain finance experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred.

• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including financial reporting, cost analysis, inventory management, and operational reporting.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and performance management.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

• Reports directly to the Finance Manager.
• Partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Plant Leadership, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Collaborates with external auditors, consultants, and other business partners as needed.
