Disclosure Desk Specialist

REV Mortgage is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Disclosure Desk Specialist to join our Operations team. The Disclosure Desk Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and delivering accurate initial and revised loan disclosures in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, investor, and company requirements.

This position plays a critical role in keeping loans moving efficiently from application through closing. The ideal candidate understands the importance of accuracy, urgency, communication, and compliance and thrives in a fast-paced mortgage environment.

• Review loan files and system data to ensure information is complete and accurate prior to disclosure.
• Prepare and issue initial Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and other required disclosures within applicable regulatory timelines.
• Prepare and issue revised disclosures when changes occur throughout the loan process in a timely manner.
• Review fees, loan terms, property information, borrower information, and other data for accuracy before disclosures are sent.
• Monitor disclosure deadlines and ensure all required disclosures are delivered within required time frames.
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, Processors, Underwriters, and Closing staff regarding disclosure requirements and changes.
• Review loan changes for potential redisclosure requirements and ensure appropriate documentation is provided.
• Monitor borrower receipt and acknowledgment of disclosures and follow up when necessary.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential compliance issues and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable disclosure requirements, regulatory changes, investor requirements, and REV Mortgage policies.
• Work closely with the processing and closing teams to ensure accurate and timely handoff of loan files.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of residential mortgage experience preferred.
• Previous experience with mortgage disclosures, loan processing, closing, or mortgage operations strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of TRID and federal mortgage disclosure requirements.
• Familiarity with Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple loans and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable working with mortgage loan origination systems and other technology platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive borrower information.
• High level of accountability and ownership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Encompass or another mortgage loan origination system.
• Familiarity with TRID, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, and other applicable mortgage regulations.
• Experience working with high-volume mortgage production teams.
• Strong understanding of the residential mortgage loan lifecycle.
• Previous experience in a centralized disclosure or mortgage operations environment.
