The Opportunity

This role will take ownership of maintaining and expanding Kin’s financial and revenue reporting, forecast modeling, and month-end deliverables. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you'll join a team where your work directly supports Kin's expansion into new states and markets as well as its current product performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own the recurring financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery

  • Build and maintain forecast models using Kin's established methodologies and processes

  • Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles for the Finance team end-to-end

  • Drive ad hoc financial analysis that informs state and product-level growth strategy decisions

  • Establish process improvements that streamline recurring reporting and forecast modeling workflows

  • Maintain data integrity and documentation across all forecast models and reporting tools

  • Track and report on key financial and operational metrics tied to Kin's expansion into new states

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine forecasting and reporting standards

You'll use your skills and judgment to take ownership of meaningful work, improve how we operate, and help move Kin's mission forward. Along the way, you'll deliver outcomes that make a real difference for both Kinfolk and the homeowners we serve.

  • Improved speed and accuracy of financial reporting and for cross‑functional stakeholders and leadership

  • Established reporting and forecast modeling processes are running smoothly and independently in your hands

  • Core stakeholders come to you for insights on performance and financial outcomes of the current business as well as project proposals

What You'll Bring
  • 4+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience, including forecast modeling and recurring reporting

  • Demonstrated proficiency building and maintaining financial models in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Experience owning recurring reporting cycles (monthly/quarterly) with minimal oversight

  • Ability to translate financial data into analysis that informs strategic decisions

  • Experience working cross‑functionally with stakeholders outside of Finance

  • Proficiency with financial planning and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Fianncials, Adaptive Planning, Net Suite, Anaplan, or similar)
