The Research Administrator II organizes, plans, establishes, and monitors proposal preparation, and administrative and financial monitoring of grants and contracts. This role provides routine pre‑award and post‑award services related to grants management, proposal preparation and review, award administration, and financial activities.
Core Responsibilities- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- One (1) year of related work experience.
- This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO G-48.

- Hybrid work environment, with responsibilities performed both remotely and on‑site as business needs require. Requires the regular engagement of colleagues within and outside of the unit, principal investigators, unit business officers, and sponsor representatives.
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary; if walking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will work both on campus and remotely in Texas. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
