This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at High Five Kids LLC located in San Antonio, TX. The role will involve assisting with speech therapy sessions, working with children to improve articulation and communication skills, and coordinating skills with home carryover and OT discipline.
Position Requirements
Bachelor,
1+ Years
work experience Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language therapy programs as directed by a certified speech-language pathologist
- Assist clients in developing speech and language skills through a variety of exercises and activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in speech-language therapy
- Provide exceptional care and service to clients and their families
- Speech and Communication skills
- Experience in Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders
- Ability to work on articulation with children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Required Language Skills:
- English - Good
