POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the operation, procedures, patient safety and maintenance of the MRI equipment and related systems. Ensures that all required safety precautions & screenings are strictly enforced for the protection of customers and personnel. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and magnetic resonance physics, as applied to MRI procedures and operation of the department. Must have excellent customer service initiatives and be a strong team player.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) is required.
License by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is mandatory.
Two years radiology experience is preferred. Must test for MRI Registry after two years of employment in MRI area and must acquire MRI Registry within four years. Must have current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association is required.
