Title: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
Pay Rate: $19 - $22 per hour

- Collaborate with fellow Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and management to assure top tier patient care.
- Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock; work schedules may vary.
- Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment functions, and all certifications, licenses, and registrations as an EMT.
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
- Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibilities for patient care and following established policies and procedures.
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and obtain appropriate billing signatures.
- Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Texas Advanced EMT License
- BLS with American Heart Association
- Driver's License and acceptable driving record (Driver's License required for a minimum of 2 years)
- FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 certifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy or comfortable with technology
- Able to work on a team
- Respectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors
- Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
