The Intervention Radiology Tech III is responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards, completing established competencies within an introductory period, and performing related duties as assigned.

Education:

• Minimum:
  Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
• Preferred: N/A

Experience:

• Minimum: 3 or more years hospital experience
• Preferred:
  Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures

Certifications & Licensure:

• Required:
  
  Current Texas State registration and ARRT
• Preferred:
  Certification in Specialty

Required Courses / Completions: Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
