Overview
Seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to provide in-home speech therapy services across Central and South Texas.
Responsibilities- Administer treatment plans under supervision of a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Apply infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients and caregivers effectively.
- Participate in training and promote compliance with payors.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ongoing competency.
- Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy, active state licensure, and reliable transportation.
- Preferred experience:
one year as a speech therapy assistant. - Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Must meet physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Work involves travel to patients homes, with exposure to health risks and variable conditions.
- Part-time, on-the-road position.
