Job Description
Medical Records Manager who has experience in maintaining patient data and HIPAA rules and regulations along with state and federal requirements. Candidates should have experience and/or be familiar with fulfilling various types of Medical Records Requests such as but not limited to physician to physician, insurance audits, life insurance, legal and subpoenas. Supervise the employees within the medical records department and ensuring that information contained in each record is complete, accurate, and secure.
Manage and secure all written and electronic data within a facility's medical records department.

- Manage and secure all written and electronic data within the facility's medical records department.
- Fulfill various types of Medical Records Requests (e.g., physician-to-physician, insurance audits, life insurance, legal and subpoenas).
- HIPAA trained and versed in rules and regulations
- General computer knowledge including applications such as Word, Excel, and Adobe products
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience answering phones, taking messages, and returning patient calls
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong data entry with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify, organize and draft daily protocols and workflow procedures for department structure
- Leadership skills, training, or strong capabilities
