Overview

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support middle school students in San Antonio, TX. This position is a maternity leave fill, serving as an itinerant provider between two campuses, focusing on grades 6-8. The role requires approximately 30 hours per week, working part-time across both assigned schools.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to an estimated caseload of 100 students.
  • Deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each student s needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies.
  • Participate in any required meetings and professional development.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Current Professional Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) license required.
  • 0-10+ years of school-based experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently across two school locations.
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and background checks.
  • Must provide license verification images as part of the credentialing process.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
Location and Schedule
  • On-site role based in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Itinerant services between two middle schools (Garner Middle School and Wood Middle School).
  • Part-time hours, approximately 30 hours weekly.
  • Contract dates:
    March 31, 2026, through May 29, 2026.
