Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – $40/hr – San Antonio, TX – In-Person – 20 Weeks (Part-Time)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students. This role includes direct therapy services, documentation, and implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Modality:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under SLP supervision
Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist
Support individual and small-group therapy sessions
Collect and document student progress data
Assist with speech and language screenings as assigned
Prepare therapy materials and support classroom communication strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards
Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
Minimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification/licensure in Texas
One year of prior SLPA experience preferred
Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
TB screening and health certificate per state guidelines
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
