Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – $40/hr – San Antonio, TX – In-Person – 20 Weeks (Part-Time)

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students. This role includes direct therapy services, documentation, and implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

• Pay Rate: $40/hour

• Modality:
  In-person only

• Openings: 1 position

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under SLP supervision

• Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist

• Support individual and small-group therapy sessions

• Collect and document student progress data

• Assist with speech and language screenings as assigned

• Prepare therapy materials and support classroom communication strategies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

• Minimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience

• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification/licensure in Texas

• One year of prior SLPA experience preferred

• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

• TB screening and health certificate per state guidelines

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
