Provides art therapy services as well as additional experiential therapy to patients. Documents provision of services according to regulatory standards.

• Programs and facilitates therapeutic activities for all patient population groups.
• Document provision of services according to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Assists in PI development.
• Assist in maintaining recreational supplies and equipment needed for art therapy activities.
• Provide direction and maintains responsibility for the quality of art therapy services offered on assigned units.
• Maintains a good working relationship with other departments in the hospital.
• Ensures hospital policy and procedures are implemented.

• SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong verbal, written, and communication skills. Creative programming and ability to modify recreational activities to suit children, adolescents, and adults in a psychiatric setting.
• EDUCATION: Master’s in Counseling or Master’s in Creative Art Therapy
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: LPC and ATR or ATR-BC
• EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year of experience working in an acute inpatient behavioral health facility, as well as experience providing art therapy programming to children, adolescents, and adults.
