Since 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center has been the premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in San Antonio and South Texas. Our 330‑bed facility is one of the largest freestanding psychiatric hospitals in the United States. Set on a therapeutic 29‑acre campus in north central San Antonio, Laurel Ridge serves as the setting for the treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, veterans and military personnel.

Position SummaryMaintains clinical oversight of mental health professionals ensuring optimum performance while delivering high quality services. The position develops and implements clinical programming across the facility using evidenced‑based practices and culturally appropriate approaches that are strength‑based. The Clinical Director is expected to facilitate supervision using a team‑based philosophy and is a key member of the management team maximizing facility effectiveness and sustainability.

Job Duties /Responsibilities
- Overall direction and responsibility for the clinical programs – Military
- Ensures that clinical programs meet or exceed agency, license, and organizational standards.
- Identifies, facilitates, and monitors clinical program operations that are culturally diverse.
- Overall direction and responsibility for supervision of clinical staff.
- Effectively represents the hospital within the community, with professional organizations, consumers and payers.
- Ensures that quality and appropriateness of programs are reviewed and corrected as needed on a regular basis.
- Maintains staff performance evaluations and performance improvement activities.
- Ensures that Policies and Procedures are implemented in an accurate and expedient manner.
- Engages in interviews, hiring process, performance appraisals and constructive discipline as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
LMSW, LCSW or LPC.
Education>Master’s degree in Social Work, Masters Degree in Counseling or Psychology.
