POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the administration and coordination of all activities of the University Health's (UH) Physician Practice, University Medicine Associates (UMA) operations, academic leased physicians, and private practice venture partnerships. Responsible for strategic planning of University Health's physician practice and their facilities. Acts in the capacity of an Officer of University Health. Promotes University Health's customer relations policy. Must be knowledgeable about pertinent areas of health reform and their impact upon an integrated health system.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Health Care Administration or related field is required. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years related experience may be substituted for the required education. Six years in health care management/administration is required. Aforementioned experience gained in a university affiliated hospital physician practice is preferred. Epic knowledge and experience preferred.
