Medication Aide

Discovery Senior Living -  - Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on care and support to residents, including activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, and eating;
Assist/observe medications and treatments for each resident following the Six Rights of Medication Pass and document accordingly;
Maintain the medication room, med charts, and medication carts ensuring cleanliness and organization;
Count narcotics with a nurse or Medication Care Manager each shift and restock the medication cart after passes;
Respond to resident calls and notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if a resident’s care needs increase
