Job Title: Paramedic

Pay Rate: $25 - $29 per hour ($1 per hour night shift differential)

Bonus: Productivity Bonus

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Employment Type s: Full‑time and Part‑time

Schedule: Day shift & night shift available

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with fellow paramedics, EMTs and management to ensure top‑tier patient care.
  • Work flexible hours as emergency services operate 24hours a day.
  • Remain up‑to‑date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses and registrations as a paramedic.
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful and professional manner when dealing with patients, co‑workers, supervisors and the public.
  • Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment and knowledge of all state and county protocols.
  • Provide medical transport to facilities and hospitals, assuming medical care responsibilities and following established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain rig cleanliness, stock supplies and take ownership of your space.
  • Gather patient billing information, obtain billing signatures and prepare and submit a pre‑hospital patient care report.
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the dispatch center.
  • Be able to lift, push and pull 125lbs or more.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Texas paramedic license.
  • Critical Care experience is a plus.
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least 2years of driving history and an acceptable driving record.
  • FEMA Inter‑agency Communication System (ICS) certifications 100, 200, 700 and 800.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Tech‑savvy or comfortable with technology.
  • Ability to work on a team and respect colleagues, patients and supervisors.
  • Successful completion of a physical aptitude test.
