- Salary Range: $10.00 - $10.00 hourly (potential annual compensation up to $43,420.00 with overtime)
- Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000 (excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered)
- Benefits: Free Rent and Utilities, Health Insurance after 90 days, 401(k) after 1 year, Vacation 2weeks after 1 year, 3weeks after 5 years
South Texas Community Living is hiring full‑time Live‑In Caregivers to support three individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Our organization serves over 300 individuals across the state in group homes, natural‑residential settings, and a foster care model.
Live‑In Hours- Monday – Friday: 6:00AM – 8:00AM; 3:00PM – 9:00PM
- Saturday – Sunday: 6:30AM – 9:00PM
- Assistance with grooming and toileting
- Assistance with meal preparation and mealtime monitoring
- Assistance with medication administration
- Supervision during recreational activities
- House cleaning (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.)
- Driving company vehicles
- Communication with outside family members and office staff
- Specialized documentation
On the job training provided.

- Valid and current Texas Driver's License
- Clear background check
- Clear DMV check
- High School Diploma or equivalent proof of education
- No confirmation of abuse/neglect/exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
- No history of Medicaid fraud
- Experience in caregiving, direct support, direct care, CNA, or home health preferred
- Personal qualities: fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, patient in challenging situations
