Clinic Scheduler The START Center for Cancer Care | San Antonio, TXAre you a highly organized professional who enjoys helping patients navigate their healthcare journey? The START Center for Cancer Care is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinic Scheduler to join our growing oncology team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely appointments, imaging, and procedures while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced medical environment.

Established and respected oncology practice serving South Texas Position Summary The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, imaging studies, and procedures while serving as a primary point of contact for patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Essential Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic imaging, and procedures.
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-up needs.
Confirm appointments and provide reminders to reduce missed visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and update scheduling systems.
Verify insurance information and assist with scheduling-related authorizations.
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to optimize patient schedules and workflow.
Provide exceptional customer service and address patient questions and concerns.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Medical office experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail.
