Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Patient Services Coordinator / Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Ovation Fertility in San Antonio, Texas
.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with 12 Saturdays and 5 holidays per year, and the ability to float to the New Braunfels location as needed

In this role, the Patient Services Coordinator / Laboratory Assistant will:
- Welcome patients and visitors to the office
- Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
- Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls when necessary
- Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information
Support embryologists with all aspects of IVF processes
- Assist with andrology procedures such as IUI preparation and semen analysis
Assist with specimen discards in the laboratory
- Assist with maintaining integrity of media, collection, and semen processing data; record and communicate oocyte collection, maintain embryo production data records; maintain accurate labelling and traceability of media and embryo production
Assist with lab maintenance; sanitize working areas and equipment; follow production inventory and LN2 management protocols; maintain processing equipment, glassware and plastic dishes and processing areas
- Perform general office duties and all other tasks as requested by physicians, director and embryologists

Qualifications and Skills Include:
- Bachelors degree in Biology or related science field required
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
