Job Description
To wash and clean all cookware (pots and pans) and china, glass, silver and all miscellaneous items from kitchen production areas and dining rooms in accordance with Omni standards.
Responsibilities
* Cleans pots, pans, cookware utensils, china, glass, silverware, and any other miscellaneous items
* Conduct a quarterly silver and china inventory
* Keeps cookware washing area clean and neat
* Stores cleaned items in the proper location
* Keeps kitchen floor area clean and free of debris
* Clean any heart of house areas as instructed
* Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time
* Ability to clearly communicate
* Ability and willingness to push pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, and reach
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
* Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays
* Previous experience in stewarding is strongly preferred
* Food safety certification
