The Assistant Operations Roving Manager will function in certain situations as acting Manager on Duty during the afternoons and evenings. This assistant manager position will be supporting most areas of the hotel operations, focusing mainly on Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security, but might also be asked to assist in Stewarding and Food & Beverage as well. The Assistant Operations Roving Manager is an hourly management position and will be expected to work a 45-hour work week.
This person will be responsible for assisting with or addressing any guest and colleague concerns as well as ensuring that our Hyatt brand standards are being observed by our colleagues as well as our vendors. This position will be working closely together with multiple divisions of the hotel and must maintain a high level of communication with the team.
- Maintain professional and healthy relationships with all departments within the hotel.
- Respond to a variety of guest request with corrective analyzing and brand standards.
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, periodically as needed.
- Lead by example and with a sense of ownership.
- Quickly correct safety concerns and ensure guest and colleague safety.
- Address any guest concerns while ensuring the proper follow up is delivered.
- Lead the effort for colleague engagement during our afternoon and evenings shifts.

Qualifications- 2-3 years of hotel Rooms Management experience is beneficial.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work afternoon and evening shifts on any day to include weekends and holidays, and be able to adhere to a 45-hour work week schedule.
- Successful problem-solving skills.
- Able to multi-task.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- A desire to learn and grow within hotel operations.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
