Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Specialist to support our growing team in and around the San Antonio and surrounding areas. This role plays a key part in fostering a supportive, compliant, and engaging work environment across our facilities. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance are essential to success in this role, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
YourImpact as a Human Resource Specialist
- Accurately enter and update employee information, including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations.
- Review applications and resumes, assess applicant qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Advise supervisors, managers, and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Respond to personnel and payroll-related inquiries and ensure alignment with company practices.
- Coordinate with departments and act as a liaison to promote clear and professional communication.
- Provide guidance on employment issues such as promotions, demotions, transfers, and more.
- Organize and support employee engagement and recognition events in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain and audit personnel files and risk management programs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in composing confidential correspondence, compiling reports, and preparing data for leadership.
- Interpret and apply company policies as well as state and federal employment laws.
- Keep all employee records well-organized and up-to-date.
- Has at least 2 years of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and can prioritize tasks effectively.
- Communicates professionally in both verbal and written formats.
- Maintains confidentiality and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Is familiar with labor laws and HR best practices.
- Can comply with the company’s and departmental safety and conduct policies.
