We are looking for an Employee Relations Sr. Analyst to help create a positive, respectful and compliant workplace. This role is ideal for an HR or labor relations professional with hands‑on ER experience who enjoys partnering with leaders, supporting employees, and resolving workplace concerns with empathy and sound judgement. The successful candidate will counsel with the Employee Relations Manager to provide advice to the business that supports efficient operations while remaining attentive to employee needs and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and employment laws.
Tact, diplomacy, knowledge, relevant experience, and the ability to multi‑task are keys to the success of this role.
- Under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager, manage the employee grievance process, from initiation to closure, including communication, documentation, and tracking.
- Conduct fair, thorough and objective investigations into employee matters. Partner with HR COE’s, Employment Attorneys, Ethics & Compliance, etc., on complex or higher risk cases.
- Provide guidance and coaching to People Managers on a broad range of employment issues, to include HR policies, employment practices, performance management, corrective action, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
- Research company policies and procedures to understand and assess the applicability of such to issues that arise in employee/company interaction. With assistance from the Employee Relations Manager, provide guidance and interpretation of the policies with People Managers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of processes, documents and trainings that help mitigate business risk and proactively support and maintain a positive employment climate.
- Assist with case management and administration, data analysis and other areas as necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years in Employee Relations, HR, or related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Prior experience with end‑to‑end investigation ownership, including fact‑finding, conducting interviews, assessing credibility, preparing clear written summaries and findings, and ensuring alignment with company policy rather than opinion.
- Ability to demonstrate capacity to produce clear, objective, and well‑structured documentation, exercising sound judgment regarding what information should and should not be documented.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
- Proven track record of working independently and utilize resources to achieve key results.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of HR technologies, including HRIS and/or Case Management Tool.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information and data from multiple sources and summarize investigative findings clearly and concisely in writing.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
