ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Support firm-wide lateral associate recruiting, integration, and retention processes.
- Oversee student recruiting program including planning on-campus visits, recruiting touch points, and virtual events.
- Plan and execute summer associate program in conjunction with hiring partners, overseeing social events and day-to-day work assignments and oversight.
- Draft job descriptions, source candidates, coordinate interviews, manage candidate relations, and provide status updates and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Establish partnerships with partner law schools career services teams.
- Build relationships with external search firms, facilitating smooth onboarding and integration processes.
- Support diversity & inclusion initiatives, including Mansfield Certification.
- Analyze recruiting data and collaborate with teams to execute successful onboarding and integration during the summer associate program.
- Implement and review recruiting feedback and surveys, and report on strategic recruiting goals.
- Assist with other recruiting efforts as needed and report on industry-related news and data.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Two plus years of recruiting experience required; minimum one year of large law firm attorney recruiting experience or law school career services experience preferred.
- Ability to gain strong knowledge of the firm, its culture, practices, and policies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Strong knowledge of legal industry practices and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Highly motivated, creative, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and under deadline pressure.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and ethical hiring practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented and forward-thinking with strong organizational and time-management skills.
