RightFax Engineer

Overview

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a Right Fax engineer who is a subject-matter expert responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, and high-level support of an Open Text Right Fax environment. This role involves leading major projects, ensuring system compliance and security, and integrating the platform with complex enterprise systems.

• Platform Management and Architecture:
  Design, configure, and maintain the enterprise Right Fax server infrastructure, including clustered environments and multi-site deployments to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Implementation & Upgrades:
  Plan and execute projects to upgrade the platform, introduce new features, or perform version migrations.
• Integration:
  Integrate Right Fax with various enterprise systems and applications, such as Microsoft Exchange/O365, Active Directory, SAP, Oracle, EHR/ERP systems, and telephony infrastructure (POTS, SIP, FoIP).
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  Provide advanced, third-level support and problem resolution for complex technical issues, often participating in an on-call rotation. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to other teams.
• Monitoring and Optimization:
  Proactively manage system uptime, monitor performance, and optimize system performance to enhance business communications.
• Security and Compliance:
  Implement and enforce data privacy and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) related to document transmission, including disaster recovery planning and capacity management.
• Documentation and Vendor Management:
  Create detailed infrastructure design and operational documentation. Manage all aspects of vendor engagement, including professional services and support tickets.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
• Experience:
  
  4+ years of demonstrated experience with enterprise fax solutions, with significant specific experience with the Open Text Right Fax product.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange/O365 environments.
• Experience with enterprise telecommunications technologies like SIP, FoIP, and cloud fax solutions (Right Fax Connect).
• Familiarity with database management, such as MS SQL Server.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Power Shell, Python) is highly valued.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT teams, vendors, and end-users.
• Leadership capabilities to lead projects and mentor staff.
