Systems Analyst FinTech IT Operations

Role Summary

We are hiring a Systems Analyst for IT Operations to support and evolve a highly available, transaction-driven technology environment. This role is responsible for the integration, reliability, and performance of core infrastructure systems
, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems, automation platforms, and supporting services.

You will act as a technical authority within IT Operations
, partnering closely with infrastructure, security, and operations leadership to ensure continuous service delivery, resilient system design, and effective automation of operational workflows.

• Administer and integrate physical and virtual server environments supporting mission-critical applications
• Ensure consistent system availability by monitoring performance, capacity, and operational workloads
• Support and improve batch processing, workload automation, and orchestration platforms used in daily and overnight operations
• Analyze new operational and business requirements and translate them into system configurations, scripts, and tested automation workflows
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers to support infrastructure initiatives and incident response
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution

• Maintain clear documentation covering system architecture, operating procedures, and recovery processes
• Continuously assess operational processes and recommend improvements to increase stability, efficiency, and scalability

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Systems Analysis, or Enterprise Systems Support
• Hands-on experience supporting virtualized environments and server platforms
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (experience with UNIX-based systems a plus)
• Experience supporting batch job scheduling, workload automation, or business process automation tools
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system issues in high-availability environments
• Experience collaborating with vendors or managed service providers
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate both technical and operational requirements

• Server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
• Scripting and automation using tools such as Power Shell, shell scripting, or similar
• Identity and access management concepts, including directory services
• Familiarity with databases and data operations in support of production systems
• Basic programming or scripting to support automation and system integrations

• Experience supporting large-scale or regulated production environments
• Exposure to disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architectures
• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or workload scheduling platforms
• ITIL-aligned operational experience or formal certification
• Project-based experience supporting infrastructure or systems initiatives

• Stable, well-managed infrastructure supporting continuous operations
• Reliable batch processing and automation with minimal failures or manual intervention
• Clear recovery procedures and confident execution during incidents or failover events
• Improved operational efficiency through documented processes and targeted automation
• Strong partnership with IT leadership and operational stakeholders
