Must have
- Associates degree from an accredited institution. Experience may be substituted for education on a one-for-one basis.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in client-driven website and web application architecture and development utilizing advanced web authoring code.
- This position requires the ability to uphold the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in client-driven website and web application architecture and development using advanced web authoring code is preferred.
- Design, develop, and maintain intricate websites and web applications through advanced web authoring code.
- Implement web functionality based on client needs and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Business Affairs Strategic Communications team and clients to clarify goals and requirements for website and application development.
- Create web page content, navigational structures, and layouts while adhering to web accessibility and usability best practices.
- Document design workflows, installation procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Engage with team members and clients to assess and enhance existing websites, addressing any inquiries or issues.
- Monitor website performance post-implementation to ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage web maintenance tasks and the creation of new pages or sites, ensuring timely and consistent completion according to project standards.
- Investigate new tools and methodologies, providing recommendations to stay at the forefront of web design.
- Analyze website utilization statistics and prepare reports.
- Conduct usability assessments to evaluate website functionality in relation to client requirements and user-friendliness.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $58,000 to $62,000, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. This role will be part of our Business Affairs Strategic Communications team, operating in a hybrid work environment combining both on-campus and remote responsibilities.
