Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (On site - Greater San Antonio, TX Area)

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a fast-paced, security-focused team. You'll be the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving high-impact technical challenges in customer cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in multi-cloud networking, Linux systems, and secure infrastructure operations—especially in environments handling sensitive cryptographic workloads. If you thrive on untangling complex issues and guiding customers toward resilient, secure deployments, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in cloud infrastructure support, Dev Ops, or systems engineering.
  • Hands-on mastery of AWS, Azure, and GCP environments (VPCs, VNETs, networking, IAM, logging).
  • Deep Linux/Unix systems administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, kernel tuning, systemd, shell).
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and customer-facing communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.


Strongly Preferred:

  • Real-world experience integrating and supporting Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), PKI systems, or enterprise key management.
  • Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, FIPS 140-2, Zero Trust).


Responsibilities

Advanced Technical Resolution

  • Lead deep-dive troubleshooting across customer cloud deployments and on-prem integrations.
  • Isolate and resolve issues spanning network connectivity, system performance, and application-layer interactions.
  • Act as the final escalation tier for mission-critical incidents.

Customer Partnership & Enablement

  • Partner directly with technical stakeholders to map infrastructure, identify risks, and recommend hardened configurations.
  • Deliver clear, actionable guidance on optimizing cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  • Perform root-cause analysis in distributed, high-availability systems.
  • Author detailed post-incident reports, runbooks, and internal knowledge assets to prevent recurrence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with platform engineering and product teams to influence tooling, telemetry, and automation.
  • Contribute to proactive support frameworks and diagnostic utilities.

Security & Cryptographic Operations

  • Support deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of hardware-based cryptographic modules and key management platforms.
