Job Summary
The Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordinator will partner with application teams to drive completion, review, and testing of DR plans. This role focuses on conducting quality assurance reviews of DR documentation and test artifacts, supporting disaster recovery exercises (DREs, TTXs, SCRAMs), and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, persistence in stakeholder follow-ups, and the ability to clearly communicate complex DR concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform QA reviews of DR plans and test evidence using standardized checklists.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance issues; track and drive resolution.
- Review and validate DR test results, recovery metrics, and supporting documentation.
- Support disaster recovery exercises and tabletop testing events.
- Coordinate with application owners to ensure timely completion of DR activities and accurate record management.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops on DR principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with DR Operations to continuously improve processes and documentation standards.
- Experience developing, reviewing, and testing Disaster Recovery plans.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate DR requirements clearly.
- Experience conducting training or facilitating workshops.
- Familiarity with DR tracking tools (e.g., Veoci) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage persistent stakeholder follow-ups.
