WhoYou Are
As an Engineer II – Endpoint at Frost, you are our desktop expert! In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and support of desktop services used by Frost end users. You’ll use your strong problem‑solving skills to ensure production deployments are performing optimally and meet our high standards. More than that, this role is about finding solutions and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support production deployments of desktop end‑user solutions; provide effective escalation support for the deployment
- Support team communications in the production deployment process. Interact with other team members in the sharing of knowledge and delivery of desktop applications to Frost end users
- Utilize desktop packaging and deployment systems such as Altiris, Microsoft SCCM, and Manage Engine
- Maintain an up‑to‑date and advanced knowledge of desktop and server hardware, operating systems, storage, data backup and recovery virtualizations, and directory services
- Obtain and maintain all required industry certifications
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- 3+ years experience in desktop or network engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or, equivalent technical training/industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
- Experience working in an enterprise environment comprised of 1000+ users
- Experience working with and supporting a structured change management and configuration management process
- Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, active directory integration, and Windows image creation process
