Job Summary:

The Senior Intelligence Analyst provides senior level intelligence support to Headquarters 16AF J2 via a position within J223. The Senior Intelligence Analyst may also provide input to ACC/A2 and HAF/A2D/A2I to support the Analyst Capability Working Group (ACWG) or other intelligence functions. The position relies upon extensive intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) experience, knowledge of Air Force airborne ISR platforms, systems, and sensors, and knowledge of intelligence analyst-related AFSCs (both officer and enlisted) to provide SME input on taskers, products, and working groups.

Essential Functions:

* Provides senior-level input to 16AF, ACC/A2, and HAF/A2D/I to support the ACWG and the OSINT/Publicly Available Information (PAI) programs
* Assists with development of programmatic documents to support the AF ISR Analyst Tools and Training Roadmap (ATTR)
* Assists 16AF with all ACWG-related actions in accordance with tasks identified in the ACC/A2 ACWG Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M)
* Researches, investigates, and reports on potentially beneficial emerging technologies to support professional analyst development, particularly in the area of modeling and simulation
* Researches, identifies, and reports on potential training and acquisition improvements for seven (7) Intelligence Analyst-related career fields/AFSCs (both officer and enlisted)
* Makes recommendations on tools that can be leveraged by the entire USAF ISR Enterprise
* Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost sharing (USAF and Joint Service)
* Investigate existing efforts, infrastructure, and tools that can be leveraged to reduce duplicative costs
* Evaluates newly acquired intelligence capabilities and provides user feedback
* Consults with MAJCOMs and applicable organizations regarding issues affecting the Intelligence Analyst force
* As tasked, assists 16AF J2 with intelligence analysis, operational, and exercise support
* Performs other senior SME tasks, as required

Position Requirements Knowledge

Skills and Experience:

* 15 years overall experience with 8+ years directly related to position requirements
* 5+ years' successful leadership experience
* Expert in airborne ISR enterprise with emphasis on training, standardization/evaluation, and modeling/simulation
* Strong briefing and presentation skills
* Ability to network, collaborate, and interact with senior government leaders
* Knowledge of military policies and procedures relating to 16AF missions
* Familiar with AF OSINT/PAI programs, guidance, and operations
* Active TS/SCI government security clearance
* Maintains currency of required ADLS and/or INSCOM trainings Education
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Position
