Job Description: JBW Federal is seeking an OCO Cyber Instructor/Developer to support cyber-related knowledge and qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, knowledge in command line interface across various operating systems, host/network analysis, forensic analysis, scripting languages, terrain mapping, network fundamentals, and familiarity with cyberspace defense actions and missions supporting USCYBERCOM. The position is based at the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS) at Joint Base San Antonio, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the government in course planning and development, including all formal training courses, lessons, and related courseware, ensuring alignment with applicable training standards and auditing all courseware for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide documentation for training system design, development, revision, and administration.
- Utilize instructional design models such as ADDIE and Bloom's taxonomy for course development.
- Assist in training needs analysis, curriculum development, and task analysis to ensure effective training programs.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, industry, and government agencies to incorporate new information into courses.
- Review guidance, manuals, and technical documents to ensure effective training delivery.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, feedback, and site visits, and recommend curriculum improvements.
- Work with SMEs to update and develop course materials.
- Use LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Question Mark) for course management, testing, and analysis.
- Conduct curriculum quality assurance audits.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans, instructor notes, and student materials.
- Design and develop e-learning products and virtual training environments.
- Assist in records management duties.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher, preferably in a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of cyber-related experience and qualifications.
- 4-6 years of expeditionary/tactical communications experience or equivalent.
- IAT/M Level II certification.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; must have or be able to obtain a passport within 60 days.
- Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI.
