Data Scientist

As a data scientist, you’ll turn complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges across private and public sectors—from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions, dig into data‑rich environments to uncover insights, develop algorithms and systems, and provide objective answers that help informed decision‑making.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 2+ years of experience with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages, including Python, for data analysis
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artifi cia l Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing
• Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques
• Public Trust
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Python, SQL, or No
  
  SQL
• 2+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning, AI, GIS, CV or NLP
• Experience with visualization packages, including Tableau, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Master’s degree

Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client;

Compensation: Salary range $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD). Total compensation includes health, life, disability, financial and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
