OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Web Content Administrator to support the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) – Children's Welfare Information Gateway (CWIG). This role will be instrumental in maintaining, updating, and optimizing web content to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and alignment with project goals and federal standards.
What You Will Do- Manage and update web content across CWIG platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to publish and maintain digital content.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal web content guidelines.
- Monitor website performance and user engagement metrics to inform content strategy.
- Conduct regular content audits and implement improvements based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.
- Support content migration and archiving efforts as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree. Additional Four (4) years of experience will be needed in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of experience in web content management or digital communications.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal or Word Press.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience working on federal government contracts or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
The annual salary range for this position is $61,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
