Principal Software Engineer

• Lead implementation and management of Dev Sec Ops  practices across multiple projects and teams to ensure seamless integration of development, security, and operations processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly automated and secure CI/CD pipelines, incorporating advanced security testing and validation techniques.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross‑functional teams, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of security awareness.
• Architect, implement, and manage secure and highly available infrastructure, both cloud‑based and on‑premises, focusing on automation, scalability, and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
• Develop robust monitoring and alerting systems.
• Lead security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Create comprehensive documentation, architectural diagrams, security documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Conduct proofs of concept for new Dev Sec Ops  tools and technologies, recommend adoption.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis, identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and deliver Dev Sec Ops  training programs.

• Bachelor of Arts/Science in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expert‑level proficiency in CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle
  
  CI, Azure Dev Ops). Advanced configuration, scripting, and customization.
• Expertise in configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform), designing and implementing complex infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), designing and managing containerized applications at scale.
• Senior level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud architectures; cost optimization and resource management.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go, Java). Develop custom tools and automation scripts.
• In‑depth knowledge of security best practices and tools (OWASP, Nessus, Burp Suite, Splunk, SIEM solutions), threat intelligence and security monitoring experience.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS).
• Experience with security compliance frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, ISO
  27001, SOC2).
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools.
• Experience with reverse engineering and malware analysis (preferred).
• Active participation in the security community (contributing to open‑source projects, presenting at conferences, publishing research).
