Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is hiring a Dev Ops Engineer to support U.S. Federal Government clients in McLean, VA. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that power our hybrid environment, bridging the gap between development teams and IT operations, and ensuring seamless integration between on‑premises data centers and public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). The goal is to automate everything, minimize downtime, and accelerate delivery of secure, high‑quality software.
Job Responsibilities- Design and manage end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines that deploy consistently across local servers and cloud environments.
- Use Dev Ops tools to treat local hardware and cloud environments as code.
- Manage and monitor the networking and data synchronization between on‑prem storage and cloud‑native services.
- Apply site‑reliability best practices to ensure continuous service delivery and high availability across hybrid environments.
- Embed security scanning and compliance checks directly into the development lifecycle.
- Consistently identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with scalable, programmatic solutions.
- Communicate effectively to bridge engineering complexities and business objectives.
- Maintain composure and provide clear leadership during high‑pressure system outages or production incidents.
- Active Secret Government security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert highly desired.
- Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within six months of hire.
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110–130K. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full‑time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.
