Adjunct Faculty in Computer Science/Cybersecurity/Cyber Engineering Technology
The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences at Texas A&M University – San Antonio seeks full‑time or part‑time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology for Fall 2026. Most courses will be taught in person, with a few offered online synchronously or asynchronously.
Responsibilities• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology.
Required Qualifications- Earned Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering Technology, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- 18 graduate hours in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
- Lecture and computer‑based laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience.
- Working toward or holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Engineering Technology, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
- Broad training in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology and industry experience.
- Interest in active and collaborative learning and in the instructional use of technology.
- Experience with a non‑traditional commuter‑university setting.
