We are looking for a Deskside Support Technician who brings both technical skill and a heart to serve. Someone who sees every interaction as an opportunity to support our team and advance our mission.
This is an onsite role in San Antonio, Texas, supporting a dynamic, mission-driven organization where technology plays a key role in how we serve others and build people.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices and standard applications
- Assist with account access, password resets, and general system navigation
- Support device imaging, deployment, and replacement for new and existing staff
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure performance and security
- Maintain accurate asset inventory, tagging, and documentation
- Document technical issues and solutions to strengthen team knowledge
- Support basic network connectivity including workstation setup and printers
- Collaborate with IT team members and departments to support events and initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in deskside support, helpdesk, or technical support preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and device connectivity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with a service-first mindset
- Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documenation
