Primary Accountability

Own the vision, strategy, and business outcomes of personalization and Next Best Experience (NBE). Owns strategy, investment prioritization, outcomes & KPIs, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define NBE strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise goals
  • Establish experience principles, prioritization model, and governance
  • Shift organization from:
    Campaign mindset ->
    Journey orchestration mindset
  • Align stakeholders across:
    Member Value (MV);
    Technology;
    Marketing;
    Lines of Business
  • Own: KPI framework (conversion, engagement, LTV)
  • Prioritize experience portfolio, not individual requests
  • Drive platform vs point-solution decisions

Leads the discovery, delivery, and performance of digital and technology products and their experiences and its members. Collaborates with internal stakeholders and partners to tackle complex problems to optimize the customers  experience with market offerings. Designs and drives implementation of multi-platform technology and digital solutions. Optimizes and improves existing products and experiences across delivery channels and platforms to drive KPIs and KRIs.

Uses User Centered Design and Design Thinking to bring Digital and/or Technology driven products to market. Develops the product strategy, vision, and goals and justifies decision-making related to the balance and mix of innovation types and investments for Digital and Technology products of complex scope. Ensures strategic alignment across the product and its stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Tasks

  • Independently leverages digital or technology research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, propose solutions, create and maintain roadmaps, and improve performance.
  • Leads team and stakeholders to envision, define, and translate product opportunities into initiatives (requirements, epics, features) and drives execution strategy.
  • Shepherds highly complex, integrated, strategic product opportunities from idea to market validation through collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Drives and defends product investments through business cases and hypotheses, communicating the value proposition.
  • Continuously leverages data-driven problem-solving techniques to understand and report on product performance against KPIs/KRIs; shares best practices with team.
  • Guides team to generate insights to inform product and experience improvements; ensures improvements are implemented.
  • Prepares compelling presentations to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Facilitates product definition, concept and collaboration sessions to coordinate discovery, development, delivery, and validation activities, and to mitigate risks and dependencies.
  • Conducts internal and external research and situational analysis to apply industry best practices and trends.
  • Manages ambiguity, influences others to think big picture and drives clarity, solutions, and execution plans.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of business, technology, UX, and product management practices.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to team members and serves as an escalation point for issue resolution.
  • Ensures risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
Experiences that will support your success
  • Digital/Technology Product Management experience, including Strategy/Planning, Innovation, UX, Process Engineering, Analytics, and/or Research/Testing
  • Knowledge of technology/digital products, platforms, data analysis, and research techniques
  • Proven ability to develop, influence, present, and communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams, non-technical users, and senior leadership
