Location: Hybrid in San Antonio, TX (78215)

Contract Duration: Long-term engagement (3-5 years)

This role will lead a portfolio of enterprise infrastructure initiatives, including multi-cloud strategy, network and connectivity modernization, data center transformation, disaster recovery and resiliency programs, and infrastructure automation. The program manager will oversee multiple project managers delivering initiatives across cloud, network, voice, and platform services, with a focus on improving reliability, reducing outages, optimizing cost, and advancing overall infrastructure maturity.

• Lead and manage complex, multi-year infrastructure programs spanning:
  • Multi-cloud environments
  • Network modernization
  • Data center initiatives
  • Internet and voice services
• Oversee major initiatives including:
  • Disaster recovery and failover strategies
  • Infrastructure automation and process optimization
  • Platform modernization and service stability improvements
• Provide program-level leadership across multiple concurrent projects, with project managers reporting into this role.
• Align all initiatives to a centralized roadmap and strategic objectives.
• Drive execution across infrastructure platforms (cloud, network, data center) and supporting applications.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, prioritization, and cross-team coordination.
• Deliver clear, transparent program reporting on monthly and quarterly outcomes.
• Lead and motivate a partially remote team.
• Communicate effectively across technical engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Ensure high availability, resiliency, and scalability standards are built into all initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and delivery excellence.

• 10 years of overall IT experience, including 5 years leading infrastructure-focused programs.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure programs across cloud platforms, network services, and data center operations.
• Strong experience leading disaster recovery, failover, and resiliency initiatives.
• Experience managing large, cross-functional programs with multiple PMs reporting into a program structure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure service delivery models, automation, and process optimization.
• Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments, including organizations with mixed Agile and waterfall practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills (experience working with C-suite and VP level).

• PMP certification required.
• Experience with MS Project, PowerPoint, and Clarity PPM.
